Wellington Elementary School Is Getting A Makeover!
Wellington Elementary School is getting a real makeover and complete renovations.This renovation is costing $21 Million Dollars.
The principal Mike Borowski was part of the renovation of Liberty Park Elementary school so he has overseen a project of this size.
It will be a renovation project that will take over a year. Of course they have to do this one section at a time because classes are still going on as the makeover is taking place.
One of the best thing is that they will be getting rid of all the portables. I never understood why they make brand new schools and still need to have portables. I don't know about you but I don't like those portables very much especially when we are paying big taxes for the school fund!
There will be 32 new classrooms and a nice large cafeteria. The administration will have their own wing of offices and it will be positioned so that parents will have easier access to it.
Even with all the newly added classrooms and buildings; I looked at the plans and the existing buildings that they are keeping and for the life of me can not figure out how this is going to cost $21 million dollars. I think there are a lot of wasted expenditures in these government type projects.
